University Federal Armed Forces munich

IFEN is the technology spin-off of the University Federal Armed Forces Munich, ‘Institute of Geodesy and Navigation’ (Institut für Erdmessung und Navigation). As innovating experts for all areas of current and future GNSS, the institute is the preferred partner for all types of research and long-term future oriented developments.

The Institute of Geodesy and Navigation is also well known for the organisation of the yearly ‘Munich Satellite Navigation Summit’.

Work Microwave GmbH

The WORK Microwave GmbH is a partner to IFEN for many years. With the outstanding experience of WORK in research, development and production of L-, S-, C-, X- and K-band RF hardware and software, WORK is the ideal partner for IFEN in the frame of RF test products.

WORK is also market leader in satcom converters and modulators, having a unique range of products there.

Roke manor research ltd

Roke Manor Research is recognized as one of Siemens’ worldwide centres of R&D excellence. Renowned for its highly inventive engineers, Roke holds over 350 patents covering a variety of technologies and solutions.

For many years Roke Manor Research and IFEN cooperate in the development of complete GNSS test receivers, where Roke Manor Research is responsible for the development of multi-GNSS geodetic type antennas.
